Welcome to our website.
Men’s choir Geulklank was foundet on September 18th, 1950. Its name is derived from the small river “Geul”, that flows through our residential town Valkenburg. And like the river, so also is our choir, sometimes smooth and calm, then again wild and untamed. But always stirring and powerful. Nowadays we have some 60 singers in our choir.
Geulklank has a place in the middle of the community of Valkenburg, and is highly appreciated for that. Not only for the concerts full of atmosphere. But also for Geulklank's contribution to Valkenburg’s Carnival-parade often with very original ideas. Or every year on the first Sunday of September, when at the festival named “Knoetsse” many Valkenburger citizens and many guests from all directions are having a good time.
